Strong experience in Scan to BIM, Revit BIM modeling, BIM 360 and other BIM collaboration platforms. Expertise in structural and architectural disciplines Skilled in multidisciplinary coordination and clash detection using Navisworks Proficient in creating and managing Revit families for consistency Use BIM tools to create accurate cost estimates and detailed models based on 3D scan data and point clouds (.rcp, .e57, .las) Analyze project scope, scan quality, and required LOD (100-500) Interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and heritage modeling needs from laser scan data Estimate time, effort, and resources for Scan to BIM workflows Prepare quotations and proposals based on modeling complexity and turnaround time Break down models into components (walls, pipes, HVAC systems) and assign cost/time values Benchmark pricing and effort using historical project data Coordinate with scan technicians and BIM modelers to refine estimates and understand modeling limitations Adjust pricing based on modeling challenges or scan anomalies Provide technical justifications for pricing and delivery timelines Maintain a database of past projects to improve pricing accuracy Identify risks such as occluded or inaccessible areas and build in contingencies Collaborate with sales/pre-sales teams during proposal writing and contract negotiations
