With airport traffic growth forecast to outstrip capacity our collaborative Jacobs team is busier than ever providing Technical Advisory, Program Management and Design Engineering solutions for a number of high-profile Aviation projects. We offer the unique opportunity to work on Airport projects from planning and design to construction and operational readiness. We have recently awarded to provide detailed engineering services of terminal and other landside facilities of an iconic and futuristic Airport project. The project is located on Saudi’s west coast and is part of the larger Red Sea project and tourism development. Our scope also includes Technical Advisory services and interface management of various construction contracts. We are looking for dynamic and result oriented professional to be part of Technical Advisory services team to lead shop drawing reviews, approval of material submissions, review and approval of all change requests to be submitted by the various contractors that could impact the design and support the client with managing the various interfaces and resolving any conflict. As a BIM Manager, you will lead develop, implement, and maintain the BIM standards for the project and provide BIM training modules for key staff. You will provide guidance and assistance to ensure optimal setup and progress, and to ensure that all the stakeholders are aligned with the project goals and that they understand the BIM process and their role You will be assisting the Client to develop, implement and maintain the project BIM standards and procedures. You will be in a key role reporting to the Technical Advisory services senior leadership team, the role also entails being part of a team that enhance the client’s personnel in key roles, with a reporting line that may also include client employees and staff. You will lead an integrated team and collaborate closely with the client on the delivery of the Redsea Airport Landside. You will have the opportunity to participate in client meeting so that you can get a comprehensive understanding of the client’s requirements and brief which will allow you to successfully coordinate and manage the multi-disciplinary consulting teams. You will be producing monthly reports for senior managers, to identify and measure BIM implementation. Here’s What You’ll Need:
As a successful candidate you will have a degree from a recognised university in an appropriate field such as Engineering, Architecture or Design Management or equivalent with substantial and relevant BIM experience on large scale Buildings, Infrastructure and Airport projects. You must have significant experience directing the planning, design, and construction of large multi-discipline projects, with high degrees of technical complexity, and involving a large number of programme /project staff. You should have in-depth working knowledge in the use of Autodesk Software such as REVIT, Civil3D, Tekla, Inventor and Navisworks. You will have experience of providing client design leadership to multi-disciplinary design consultant teams and construction delivery teams of complex programmes and projects is essential. You should also have experience of managing small teams on large complex transportation / aviation programmes. You should have a good understanding of relevant BIM standards to deliver ‘BIM Level 2’ or ‘BIM According to ISO19650’. Jacobs. A world where you can.
