We are seeking an interim Marketing and Media Strategy Specialist for approximately 6 months. Flexible/remote working location - able to cover multiple time zones including Middle East and US. We are seeking an interim Marketing and Media Strategy Specialist for approximately 6 months. Flexible/remote working location - able to cover multiple time zones including Middle East and US. This position is designed to support the company over the next six months. Scope of Work: Plan strategy and implement actions to achieve the following objectives: Strategic:
- Company positioning and narrative for existing and potential investors and key partners
- Product and Brand hierarchy and strategy across multiple business verticals and jurisdictions
- External communications including engagement with international news media to improve brand awareness/recognition, sales, fundraising, and overall company profile
- Internal communications across different business and geographies
- Fact sheets, product descriptions, video demonstrations/story-telling, packaging, labelling, product naming/brand creation, marketing campaigns and other marketing collateral to support the sales of technology products for and from sustainable agriculture
- Social media management to raise the profile of the company, founders, and key personnel within the company
- Graphic design, story-telling, and company media preparation/upgrade to support fundraising efforts ahead of and during a planned Series A fundraising effort
- Mentor junior employees and provide strategic advice and support to senior employees and leaders
Qualifications
Arabic, Spanish and/or Portuguese fluency is helpful but not required. Fluency in written and spoken English is a must. Experience working with governments and large organisations in the Middle East is helpful The specialist role is a temporary full-time position that is expected to start immediately and continue through to 2023. Extensions beyond this date may be possible on a part or full-time basis pending performance and internal company needs.
