We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented
BIM Engineer - Aluminum & Facade
to join our team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating Building Information Models (BIM) for facade projects, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with project requirements, UAE building codes, and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and maintain precise 3D BIM models for aluminum and facade systems.
Prepare and review shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings using Revit and other BIM platforms.
Coordinate facade systems with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to ensure seamless integration.
Perform clash detection and resolve design/technical issues in collaboration with consultants and contractors.
Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, project specifications, and global BIM standards.
Extract quantities, schedules, and material take-offs directly from BIM models.
Provide BIM support throughout design, engineering, and construction phases.
Maintain organized digital documentation for efficient project delivery.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
3-5 years of proven BIM experience
with a focus on aluminum and facade systems.
Advanced proficiency in
Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360
(or similar platforms).
Strong technical knowledge of facade engineering, fabrication processes, and installation methods.
Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary project environment.
