The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating BIM models to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with project requirements. This role requires close collaboration with design, engineering, and project teams to deliver high-quality facade solutions across UAE projects.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage detailed
3D BIM models
for aluminum and facade projects using Revit or other BIM platforms.
Coordinate facade models with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to identify and resolve clashes.
Produce accurate shop drawings, fabrication details, and material take-offs directly from BIM models.
Maintain model integrity, standards, and project-specific BIM execution plans (BEP).
Assist project managers and engineers with BIM-related technical issues and ensure timely updates.
Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors for BIM coordination meetings.
Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, facade engineering standards, and client specifications.
Support digital workflows and innovation initiatives within the facade engineering team.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
3-7 years of experience
as a BIM Engineer in facade, aluminum, or curtain wall projects (UAE experience preferred).
Proficiency in
Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks
, and other BIM-related software.
Strong knowledge of facade systems, aluminum profiles, glazing, and cladding details.
Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans (BEP), LOD requirements, and clash detection processes.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and coordination skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred
Certification in Autodesk Revit/BIM.
Experience in large-scale high-rise or complex facade projects in the UAE/GCC.
