Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

BIM Model Development:

Create, modify, and coordinate electrical BIM models, ensuring all electrical systems and components are accurately represented and integrated.

Electrical Design Integration:

Collaborate with architectural and structural teams to integrate electrical systems into the overall BIM model, ensuring functionality and compliance with project requirements.

Clash Detection & Resolution:

Use BIM tools (e.g., Navisworks, Revit) to identify and resolve clashes between electrical models and other disciplines (e.g., structural, MEP).

Collaboration:

Work closely with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and integration of electrical designs into the BIM workflow.

Software & Technology Management:

Utilize BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD MEP) for electrical modeling and stay updated on the latest BIM tools and techniques.

Quality Control:

Ensure that electrical BIM models meet project specifications, quality standards, and client expectations.

Documentation & Reporting:

Prepare and maintain BIM-related documentation, including electrical drawings, schedules, and model updates.

Client & Stakeholder Support:

Provide technical expertise and support in presenting electrical BIM designs to clients and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field; BIM certification (e.g., Revit MEP) is a plus.

Experience:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical BIM, with a focus on large-scale projects.

Skills:

Expertise in electrical BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD MEP), strong understanding of electrical systems and coordination with other disciplines, and effective communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with 4D/5D BIM applications for scheduling and cost management, familiarity with electrical load calculations and analysis tools.
