to lead and manage Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes on Autodesk Revit-based projects. The BIM Coordinator will serve as a key link between design, engineering, and construction teams, ensuring efficient collaboration and adherence to project BIM execution plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage Revit models across multidisciplinary teams (architectural, structural, MEP, etc.).
Develop, maintain, and enforce BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), ensuring compliance with ISO 19650 standards.
Lead model federation, clash detection, and coordination meetings using tools such as Navisworks, BIM Collaborate Pro, and Revit.
Oversee model setup, file naming conventions, and content organization to align with project protocols.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of Revit templates, families, and libraries.
Support project teams with troubleshooting Revit-related issues and provide ongoing training and support.
Ensure timely data exchange between stakeholders and assist in producing coordinated 3D models and 2D drawings.
Collaborate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on BIM-related matters.
Review and validate model data for accuracy, completeness, and constructability.
Contribute to the implementation of digital construction workflows including 4D scheduling and 5D cost estimation where applicable.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in BIM coordination using Autodesk Revit in large-scale AEC projects.
Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, BIM Collaborate Pro (formerly BIM 360), and AutoCAD.
Familiar with IFC standards, COBie data requirements, and ISO 19650 BIM protocols.
Experience with Dynamo or other visual scripting tools is a plus.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate across distributed teams.
Preferred Skills (2025 Trends):
Familiarity with cloud collaboration tools and digital twin technologies.
Understanding of AI-assisted design processes or machine learning applications in BIM.
Experience with sustainability analysis tools integrated with BIM (e.g., Insight, One Click LCA).
Knowledge of reality capture (laser scanning, photogrammetry) and point cloud integration into Revit.
