Job Summary:

The BIM Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) activities across all disciplines within the project. The role involves ensuring that all BIM deliverables meet project standards, quality requirements, and timelines. The candidate will act as a bridge between design, engineering, and construction teams to ensure smooth digital collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines. Ensure all project teams adhere to BIM standards and procedures. Perform model federation, clash detection, and coordination using software such as

Navisworks

,

Revit

, and

AutoCAD

. Prepare and maintain project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP). Support design and construction teams by providing accurate model data and visualizations. Conduct model audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with company and client standards. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve model-related issues. Generate 2D drawings, 3D visualizations, and reports from BIM models as required. Assist in implementing BIM workflows and best practices within the organization. Provide technical support and BIM training to project teams when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in

Civil Engineering

Architecture

,

Mechanical

, or related field. Minimum

3-5 years of experience

in BIM coordination within construction or engineering projects. Proficiency in

Autodesk Revit

Navisworks

,

AutoCAD

, and other BIM-related software. Strong understanding of

BIM Level 2 standards

ISO 19650

, and coordination workflows. Experience in model federation, clash detection, and issue tracking. Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Experience in Qatar or the GCC region is preferred.
