Bilingual Administration Assistant

Job Description

Aldar Education is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant - to support our growing family of owned and operated schools in the UAE. The successful candidate will be closely aligned with our core values and ethos and possess a genuine understanding and appreciation of the values of the region. Responsibilities: Job Purpose:

  • To effectively provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation in the organisation
  • To work independently within its designated functions Main Duties:
  • Responsible for providing administrative assistance to the management team
  • Act as the point of contract between the department and internal/external contacts
  • Manage diaries of team members, schedule internal and external meetings
  • Assist in planning itineraries, including booking travel and accommodation
  • Create meeting agendas, take minutes, and record summaries of actions to be taken
  • Compose correspondence, proofread documents for accuracy and completeness and follow up on actions
  • Complete petty cash, reimbursement, and requisitions forms
  • Assist in all aspects of event planning
  • Coordinate projects and spreadsheets with precise attention to detail
  • Ensures strict confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism at all times
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Assist with tasks assigned as and when required by the management team
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties within the overall function.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficient in operating PC, Photocopier, and various office machines, including working knowledge of prevailing popular application software and spreadsheets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, and Outlook 365 Minimum Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar industry Job Specific Knowledge & Skills:
  • Fluent English and Arabic communication skills, written and oral
  • Analyzing information and reporting skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to aid in daily contact with parents in a diverse multi-cultural environment
  • Proactive
  • Excellent office management skills

  • Ras al-Khaimah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
