This role requires strong knowledge of local routes, excellent time management, and good communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Package Delivery:
Deliver parcels, packages, and documents safely and on time to assigned destinations.
Route Planning:
Optimize delivery routes for efficiency while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
Customer Interaction:
Engage with customers professionally and courteously to ensure a positive delivery experience.
Bike Maintenance:
Conduct daily checks and ensure the delivery bike remains in good working condition; report any issues promptly.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including recipient confirmations and delivery logs.
Safety Compliance:
Follow all road safety rules and company safety protocols during deliveries.
Team Coordination:
Communicate with the operations team to manage schedules and ensure timely deliveries.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in a similar delivery or bike driver role.
License:
Valid UAE motorcycle driving license.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of UAE roads and traffic regulations.
Basic English communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good time management and problem-solving abilities.
Physically fit and capable of handling long hours of driving and package handling.
Strong focus on customer service and professionalism.
