Bi/data Analyst

Job Description
This role is responsible for consolidating and analyzing business processes and stakeholder requirements based on inputs of business function or tenants, translating the business needs into BI features, and contributing to embedding such business features on BI dashboards. The job scope also includes;
- Consult with business functions to understand business needs and translate these needs to product features for BI solutions from proof of concept to final product
- Work closely with the development team and ensure efficient communication between technical and business functions to deliver the functional requirements
- Enable optimal advantages for business stakeholders on performance KPIs by delivering BI solutions to business users
- Strive to continuously optimize the business features on the BI solutions by collaboratively supporting the developers and conveying key messages collected from business stakeholders
- Conceptualize inhouse reporting materials based on data and research for a variety of stakeholders including business units, subject matter experts and users
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Informatics or any relevant field or equivalent work experience accepted
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience within particular area of expertise
- Expertise in business processes, controlling, and defining and designing the KPI metrics into visualizations on BI platforms
- Analytical mindset paired with an affinity for BI technologies, which are daily used for analysis, visualization and reporting of data-based business topics
- Agile experience prioritizing business value by connecting business processes with technical tools
- Ability to learn and apply latest BI technologies best practices, to improve the functional areas of the business
- Ability to work independently, show initiative, and complete tasks with minimal oversight
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to manage delivery and quality issues
- Experience in data warehouse concepts and tools
- Profound experience in common visualization tools (e.g. Tableau PowerBI)
- Strong experience with agile development methodologies
- Relational database skills such as data modeling and SQL development would be a plus
