Bellman cum Driver
Job Title: Bellman cum Driver
Department: Front Office / Concierge
Reports To: Bell Captain / Chief Concierge
Job Summary:
The Bellman cum Driver provides a warm welcome and farewell to guests, handling their luggage and providing safe, courteous transportation. They are often the first and last impression of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Luggage Handling: Assist guests with luggage upon arrival and departure, transporting it to and from rooms and vehicles.
  • Transportation: Provide safe and prompt transportation for guests to and from the airport, local attractions, or other locations as requested, using the hotel vehicle.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the hotel vehicle clean, fueled, and properly maintained, reporting any issues immediately.
  • Information Provider: Provide information about hotel services and local areas of interest.
  • Guest Services: Deliver messages, packages, and items to guest rooms. Perform minor errands as requested.
  • Security: Monitor the lobby and entrance area, reporting any suspicious activity.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Valid professional driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent knowledge of the local area and traffic patterns.
  • Physically able to lift heavy luggage repeatedly.
  • Impeccable personal presentation and professional demeanor.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Discretion and trustworthiness.
