Job Description
:
Bathymetric Surveyor shall be responsible for measuring and mapping the depths and shapes of underwater terrain, typically using sonar systems and GPS technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct bathymetric (underwater topography) surveys using single-beam or multi-beam echo sounders. Operate GPS systems and hydrographic survey software for accurate positioning and data recording. Process and analyze survey data using specialized software (e.g., HYPACK, QINSy, AutoCAD, GIS tools). Prepare bathymetric charts, maps, and technical reports.
Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in Hydrography, Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field. Experience in hydrographic or bathymetric surveys. Knowledge of sonar technologies, GNSS, RTK, and tide measurement. Proficiency in survey software (e.g., HYPACK, Caris, QINSy, AutoCAD). Strong analytical and report-writing skills. Ability to work offshore or in field-based environments. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
GCC Experience and driving license preferable.

Pay: From AED4,000.00 per month
