. The role involves performing hydrographic and bathymetric surveys to support marine construction, dredging, and coastal project.
Responsibilities:
Conduct hydrographic and bathymetric surveys using GPS, total stations, singlebeam and multibeam echo sounders.
Operate and maintain ROV and survey equipment.
Process and analyze survey data using specialized software (e.g., Hypack, AutoCAD Civil 3D, QINSy).
Prepare accurate survey charts, drawings, and technical reports.
Support dredging, marine, and coastal engineering operations.
Ensure compliance with company and HSE standards.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hydrography, Geomatics, or a related field.
2-5 years of relevant experience in hydrographic or bathymetric surveying.
Proficient in GPS, Total Station, and hydrographic survey software.
Hands-on experience operating
ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle)
and
multibeam systems
preferred.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
UAE experience and valid UAE driving license are an advantage.
