Base Engineer

The Base Engineer is responsible for completing tasks as set by the Technical Manager in association with several administrative tasks.

Job responsibilities: Liaise daily, with Technical Manager regarding ongoing operational requirements. Supervise in-house calibration of equipment. Assist with project mobilization preparations. Deployment and maintenance of permanent positioning and oceanographic system installations Perform preventative maintenance as required. Oversee all equipment testing and repairs. Responsible for workshop housekeeping Responsible for the upkeep of the Base Station In conjunction with Engineering Manager design and implement planned maintenance program for all equipment Maintain Equipment Failure Service Report archive. Maintain Equipment Calibration Tracking report. Maintain monthly Equipment Repair report. Actively participate in adherence to and improvement of the company Management System on Quality and HSE related issues

You bring (qualifications & experience) Bachelor's degree - Engineering or related field Minimum 3 years' relevant work experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel) Ability to communicate at all levels. Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
