Bartender
Reports To: Restaurant Manager / Head Waiter
Job Summary:
The Bartender is responsible for crafting classic and innovative cocktails, serving beverages, and managing the bar area. This role requires mixology expertise, a engaging personality, and the ability to provide excellent service both to guests at the bar and to support the dining room service team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages to recipe standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar, including garnishes, glassware, and supplies.
- Provide friendly and efficient service to guests seated at the bar.
- Work closely with wait staff to ensure timely delivery of drink orders for the dining room.
- Manage bar inventory, conduct stock takes, and place orders as needed.
- Process payments and handle cash accurately.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
- Develop new cocktail recipes for seasonal menus or special promotions.
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a craft cocktail or high-volume environment.
- Extensive knowledge of mixology, spirits, wine, and beer.
- Strong customer service skills and an engaging presence.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., ServeSafe, TIPS).
