Monitoring daily expenses and revenues and ordering supplies like coffee, milk and snacks, as needed. Coordinate with vendors and order supplies, as needed (like takeaway cups, coffee, milk and other ingredients) Add new menu items based on seasonality and customers' preferences (for example vegan coffee drinks) Welcoming customers, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments. Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation Project a positive, professional and friendly image to the guests and employees Effectively handle guest complaints and compliments Has full knowledge of all products and is able to prepare all beverage items as per the standard recipe. Can communicate all items on the menu or running low items. Preparing foods, such as sandwiches, baked goods, cold pressed juices, smoothies and salads. Grinding and blending coffee beans, brewing coffee and tea, and serving items to customers. Knowledge in operating and calibration La Marzocco coffee machine Selling coffee and tea blends, highlighting the differences between items and educating customers about brewing methods. Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve food quality. Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as, espresso, caffe latte, and cappuccino Packaging food and beverages for sale. Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas, emptying trash, and sanitizing equipment and utensils. Updating signage and displays to attract customers. Taking inventory and replenishing items in display cases, at tables, or behind the counter. Working as part of a fun, high-energy team. Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.
