As the Aero NU Project Controls Leader you will be responsible for leading Aero NU ITR Project Controls team for LM6000 & LMS project execution team. You will work with the ITR Tendering Project Management, Commercial, Aero Engineering and Partnering teams as well as the broader cross functional organization to ensure in preparation of most optimized but doable baseline schedules and cost estimates and updates. You will lead a team working with the cross functional organization to deliver the projects on time and on budget using state of the art scheduling and cost management techniques. Lead and assist troublesome projects as well as drive the implementation of standardization, best practices & schedule monitoring systems.

What youaEUR(TM)ll do

Drive the Safety culture and environment within the team. Lead ITR scheduling and costing team managing the ITR project schedule and cost portfolio across the Aero functions i.e. Sales, Commercial, Engineering, Supply chain, Contract Management, Construction Management from R1 until final contract signature and handover to customer. Ensures team is compliant to ITR Scheduling and costing processes, identify corrective actions when needed, and provides additional training or coaching when needed. Lead scheduling and costing processes, tools, work instructions working continuously for further improvement. Track and identify risks and opportunities, prepare appropriate mitigation plans working with cross functional teams during ITR. Lead and drive earned value to analyze project productivity including early warning on schedule and cost movements as input to all teams. Drive the schedule EOT and Forensics analysis throughout project execution. Manage cross functional team support to ITR scheduling teams, resolving conflicts as needed. Ensure ITR schedules and cost are developed with standard quality, aligned with contract requirements and following GE standard schedule float and commercial finance policies. Ensure ITR schedules and costs are prepared for schedule risk reviews and cost reviews. Drive culture of including payment milestones and cash collection timings in schedules. Develops strategic and continuous improvement initiatives. Represents the Project Controls team in cross-functional initiatives and kaizen events. Coach and train newly joined schedulers and cost leaders and provide trainings on scheduling and cost work instructions and standard operating procedures. Support Equipment Planning team for smooth functioning by providing interface processes, tools, and schedule templates.

What youaEUR(TM)ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor's Degree in engineering/construction or other relevant technical discipline from an accredited university or college. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, power plant design, project scheduling, cost estimating, cost engineering, or related roles.
