MADO Restaurant, renowned for its authentic Turkish cuisine, is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages to our guests, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, Turkish coffee, and specialty drinks, following MADO's recipes and standards.
Ensure all beverages are presented attractively and consistently meet quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, kitchen area, and surrounding workspaces.
Take customer orders and provide recommendations for coffee and beverage choices.
Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Assist with inventory management, ensuring all supplies are stocked and in good condition.
Provide excellent customer service, creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere for all guests.
Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
Follow health and safety regulations, ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of work areas.
Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.
Attend training sessions and stay updated on new coffee trends and beverage offerings.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer-facing role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of coffee preparation methods, especially Turkish coffee and espresso-based drinks.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality beverages.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
