BARISTA (FEMALE)

Purpose of the Position:

To prepare and serve high-quality coffee and specialty beverages while delivering friendly, efficient, and attentive customer service. The female barista is expected to uphold hygiene standards, maintain the cleanliness of the workspace, and contribute to creating a warm and welcoming cafe environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare a variety of coffee drinks (espresso, cappuccino, latte, cold brews, etc.) according to standard recipes and quality guidelines. Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, and brewers safely and effectively. Greet customers with a friendly attitude, take orders accurately, and answer questions about the menu. Customize beverages according to customer preferences (milk alternatives, flavor shots, temperature, etc.). Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, service counter, and seating areas throughout the shift. Restock supplies such as coffee beans, milk, cups, syrups, and other ingredients as needed. Follow hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards consistently. Assist in cleaning and maintaining coffee equipment daily. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours. Handle basic cashier duties, including taking payments and issuing receipts when required. Participate in ongoing training to improve product knowledge and service skills.

Skills and Abilities:

Basic knowledge of coffee types, brewing techniques, and espresso-based drinks. Friendly, professional attitude with strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to work efficiently and stay calm under pressure. Good hygiene practices and attention to cleanliness. Willingness to learn and take constructive feedback. Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
