As a barista, you'll be responsible for delivering a great coffee experience to every guest, ensuring product quality and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare a variety of high-quality coffee and tea beverages (espresso, cappuccino, latte, etc.) according to company standards.
Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide product recommendations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation, including equipment and service areas.
Monitor and manage inventory levels; restock supplies as needed.
Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle cash or card transactions.
Follow health and safety regulations related to food preparation and hygiene.
Create a welcoming and friendly environment for all customers.
Assist in opening and closing duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Requirements:
Minimum 1-4 year of experience as a barista or in a similar customer-facing role.
Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment (espresso machine, grinders, etc.).
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of cleanliness and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Good command of English; Arabic is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in latte art and specialty coffee.
Basic knowledge of food safety regulations.
Previous work experience in the UAE or GCC region.
