Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages, including espresso-based drinks, following standardized recipes.
Operate coffee equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and blenders.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas.
Handle cash, credit card transactions, and use the POS system accurately.
Educate customers on the menu and make recommendations based on their preferences.
Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed.
Follow all food safety and hygiene standards.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
Requirements:
Previous barista or customer service experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Basic math and cash-handling skills.
Passion for coffee and a desire to learn more about coffee preparation.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
