Senior Barista
Job Summary:
The Senior Barista is responsible for overseeing daily cafe operations, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining quality standards, and driving sales performance. This role involves supervising baristas, managing inventory, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and optimizing workflow efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Sales Management
Prepare and monitor staff schedules and ensure proper shift coverage.
Track and analyze daily sales, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
Drive upselling strategies to increase revenue.
Monitor store performance and implement strategies for improvement.
Oversee cash handling, POS system accuracy, and financial reporting.
Staff Training & Development
Conduct regular training sessions on coffee preparation, customer service, and company standards.
Ensure all team members comply with HACCP and food safety regulations.
Mentor and motivate baristas to maintain high performance and professionalism.
Customer Experience & Service Quality
Ensure high standards of customer service are consistently delivered.
Handle customer complaints and feedback effectively, ensuring positive resolutions.
Maintain a welcoming, clean, and organized cafe environment.
Process & Compliance Management
Ensure adherence to HACCP and food safety standards at all times.
Maintain and update process documentation, including SOPs and quality checklists.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies.
Inventory & Cost Control
Manage stock inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and minimizing wastage.
Coordinate with suppliers for timely and cost-effective procurement.
Track and report on stock usage, losses, and replenishment needs.
Workforce Management & Performance Tracking
Oversee roster scheduling, balancing operational needs and labor costs.
Track staff incentives, overtime, and attendance records.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to the team.
Additional Responsibilities:
Lead by example in upholding brand values and work ethic.
Implement promotional activities and seasonal offerings.
Ensure smooth coordination with management and other departments.
Stay updated on industry trends and suggest innovative improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience as a Senior Barista, Supervisor, or similar role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
Experience with inventory management and cost control.
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for coffee and continuous improvement.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR3,500.00 per month
