Barista

Job Summary:

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffees and teas, while ensuring the highest standards of customer service, cleanliness, and product quality. The role requires attention to detail, consistency, and a passion for delivering an excellent guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, teas, smoothies, and other beverages as per company recipes and standards. Greet customers warmly and take orders efficiently, ensuring a friendly and professional service experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter, equipment, and seating area at all times. Handle cash and POS transactions accurately and responsibly. Replenish and organize supplies such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, and disposable items. Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines. Assist in inventory control and report low stock levels to the supervisor. Ensure proper operation, cleaning, and maintenance of coffee machines and related equipment. Support the team in daily opening and closing duties. Uphold company standards for product presentation and service quality.

Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 1-2 years of experience

as a Barista or in a similar role (experience in F&B outlets or cafes preferred). Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage recipes. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously. Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory checks. Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required. Positive attitude, team spirit, and professional appearance.
