Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused

Barista

to join our team at

Arabesq

. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, Arabic beverages, and delivering a warm and welcoming experience to our guests. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality hot and cold drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent service that reflects the Arabesq brand.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including Arabic coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty mocktails. Assist in the presentation and service of Arabic sweets and cafe items. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked barista station. Ensure proper use and maintenance of coffee machines and equipment. Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly and professional attitude. Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Manage orders efficiently during busy hours, ensuring minimal wait time. Upsell menu items and make recommendations based on guest preferences. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate restocking needs. Support the team with other front-of-house duties when required.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Barista or in a cafe environment (minimum 1 year preferred). Knowledge of Arabic coffee preparation is a strong advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and a strong sense of cleanliness and hygiene. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Basic math skills for handling transactions and POS systems.
