Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages, specialty coffees, and teas
Maintain consistency and quality in every cup served
Operate and clean espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment
Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times
Take customer orders and provide excellent, friendly service
Recommend beverages and food pairings to guests
Follow hygiene, food safety, and municipality standards (HACCP compliance)
Monitor stock levels and report any shortages to the supervisor
Assist in creating new beverage recipes or menu ideas
Support dine-in operations when required (serving or assisting waiters)
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Barista (preferably in an Italian or specialty coffee environment)
Strong knowledge of coffee preparation methods and latte art
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask
Positive attitude, reliability, and teamwork spirit
Basic English communication; Arabic or other languages are a plus
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with brands like Wega, La Marzocco, or Nuova Simonelli espresso machines
Knowledge of Monin / Toschi syrups, milk alternatives, and cold brew methods
Basic understanding of POS systems and cash handling
