Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented and passionate
Barista
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in
specialty coffee
, including
espresso-based drinks
and
manual brewing methods
such as V60, Chemex, and Kalita. A solid understanding of coffee extraction, grind calibration, and latte art is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Consistently prepare and serve top-tier espresso and filter coffee beverages
Dial in espresso and calibrate grinders daily
Provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge
Maintain a clean and organized bar and equipment
Uphold hygiene and safety standards
Support team members and contribute to a positive cafe culture
Assist in stock rotation, ordering, and daily operations
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a specialty coffee setting
Proficiency in espresso extraction, milk texturing, and filter brewing
Familiarity with third-wave coffee concepts and single-origin beans
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for specialty coffee and continuous improvement
Team player with a proactive and responsible attitude
Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus
