Job Summary:

The Barista and florist is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, has a friendly and positive attitude, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Beverage Preparation:

Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, and other beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment. Stay updated on menu offerings and promotions.

Customer Service:

Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections. Take accurate orders and handle transactions efficiently. Address customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude.

Workspace Maintenance:

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and seating areas. Restock inventory, including coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure smooth operations. Assist in training new baristas as needed.

Administrative Tasks:

Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to the manager. Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash handling and equipment cleaning.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is preferred. Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Basic math skills for handling transactions. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
