Job Description

Our Esteemed client is looking to appoint Bariatric Surgery Consultants for its upcoming project in Saudi Arabia

Working hours are 48 per week and 6 day working week is normal.

Employment contracts are for 2 years and renewable by mutual consent.

Role Duties Assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients requiring bariatric surgery Care of out patients, day patients and in patients Performance of surgical procedures and operating lists Consultation with family physicians and other specialist physicians Supervise specialist physicians Maintain clear patient records Attend regular and appropriate CME

Essential Requirements a board certification / Specialist accreditation in general surgery from USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa or Western Europe Fellowship and / or experience in bariatric surgery 3-5 years minimum attending / consultant experience after specialist accreditation Fluent English and Arabic communication. Valid unrestricted license in country of current practice A Data Flow Report will be needed before starting work.

Remuneration Monthly salary paid in local currency (SAR) tax free and freely convertible to other currencies Accommodation - single or family Healthcare insurance - single or family Flights from and back to point of hire End of service award Education allowance for up to 2 children under age 18 Benefits are for employee, spouse and 2 children under age 18 only CME programme and study leave 30 days holiday per year

Responsibilities: Provides office follow up of bariatric surgery patients; Participates in community outreach activities regarding Legacy's bariatric surgery services; Completes medical records, coding and billing schedules and forms, and other needed paperwork in a timely fashion; Provides consultation on bariatric surgical issues; Participates on relevant committees as requested; Provides bariatric surgery coverage on an "on-call" capacity for Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital; Participates in Legacy Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement programs as appropriate for clinical practice.
