A Bar Supervisor oversees the operations of the Wadi Pool Bar. Bar Supervisor responsibilities include managing stock, serving guests, placing stock orders, and ensuring product quality. Bar Supervisors typically work irregular hours and report to the Outlets Manager. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

• Creating a warm and welcome to everyone and setting the tone for each guest\xe2\x80\x99s experience
• Prepare and serve drinks to high standards, and highlight promotions to guests
• Coordinate with restaurant colleagues to offer a seamless food service
• Supervise setting up your bar \xe2\x80\x93 ensure to stock up on all the supplies you\xe2\x80\x99ll need, manage your inventory and make sure all your equipment works.
• Assist change beer barrels when necessary.
• Report any untoward incident to the Outlets Manager and recommend action plan if necessary.
• Look after your bar \xe2\x80\x93 keep it clean and tidy and make sure the alcohol is always secure.
• Supervise handling cash and credit transactions by the attendant or bartender.
• Look smart \xe2\x80\x93 wear your uniform with pride.
• Be ready to jump into other ad-hoc duties when your colleagues need your help.
• Always follow safety procedures
• Conduct on job training for the team\xe2\x80\x99s development and corrective actions.
• Supervise the colleague\xe2\x80\x99s schedule to ensure smooth bar operations.

WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU:

• At least 2 years full time experience in a similar position in 5* Hotels
• Experience working with standard operating procedures and updating where necessary.
• Be able to demonstrate taking initiative and supervising others.
• Very experienced in dealing with high volume and fast paced working environments.
• Individuals must have flexibility in their approach, the ability to adapt to last minute changes and be extremely customer focused.
• An excellent command of the English language
• Shift work and flexibility is required in this position.
