Job Summary

Lumiere Sweets & Pastries is seeking a skilled and passionate Bakery Chef to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality bakery products while maintaining consistency, hygiene standards, and production efficiency in line with company recipes and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a wide range of bakery products including breads, rolls, croissants, and related items as per company standards. Hands on experience required in Plated Desserts, Single Desserts & Sourdough Follow standardized recipes, portion controls, and production schedules. Ensure consistent product quality, taste, texture, and presentation. Operate and maintain bakery equipment and ovens safely and efficiently. Maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. Monitor stock levels and report raw material requirements to the supervisor. Minimize wastage and follow proper storage and handling procedures. Support new product trials and seasonal menu introductions when required. Coordinate with pastry, production, and quality teams to meet daily targets. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and storage areas at all times.
Requirements & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Bakery Chef or Baker in a professional bakery, pastry shop, or production kitchen. Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and bakery processes. Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment. Understanding of food safety standards (HACCP knowledge is an advantage). Good time management and attention to detail. Team player with a positive and professional attitude. Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
