Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow the Islamic Finance portfolio in the Abu Dhabi market
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Islamic finance sales professionals to achieve and exceed assigned targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive sustainable business growth
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and enhance product offerings
  • Collaborate with risk management and credit teams to ensure sound credit assessment and underwriting standards
  • Ensure full compliance with UAE banking regulations, Islamic finance principles, and internal FAB policies
  • Monitor sales performance, prepare regular performance reports, and provide actionable insights and recommendations
  • Conduct training and coaching sessions to strengthen product knowledge, sales capabilities, and regulatory awareness of the team
  • Work closely with marketing and product teams to design and execute effective sales campaigns and initiatives
  • Stay informed on developments in the Abu Dhabi financial market and adapt sales strategies accordingly
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline
  • MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred
  • Minimum 4-8 years of experience in Islamic banking or related financial services with a strong sales track record
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams
  • Strong understanding of Islamic finance products, personal loan offerings, and UAE market dynamics
  • Solid knowledge of financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and underwriting processes
  • Familiarity with UAE banking regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • Professional banking or finance certifications considered an advantage
  • Fluency in English and Arabic
