We currently have a vacancy for an Avionic Junior Supervisor at our Adam Airbase in Oman; As an Avionics Junior Supervisor, you will supervise the day to day maintenance, servicing, ground handling, dispatch and recovery of the Forward Maintenance fleet under the direction of the Maintenance. Carry out consolidation training and assessment of authorisations of both the RAFO & PC personnel as required. This role will provide you with the opportunity of gaining overseas experience and you will be provided with transition training to the Omani team, you will get the chance to supervise and manage operators and the RAFO team, working on FastJet. Your main responsibilities as an Avionic Junior Supervisor will involve: Ensuring all maintenance activities are appropriately documented and airworthiness records are maintained on relevant systems Supporting with all engineering and maintenance activities within a Pt 145 Regulatory environment Compiling appropriate reporting, identifying any issues and escalating as appropriate Providing support to the Technical Enquiry process as and when required Identifying Independent Inspection requirements as and when required Supporting the development and consolidation of RAFO Technicians to 1st and 2nd Signature Assist with flight line activities when required Undertaking the responsibilities of Avionic Senior Supervisor in his absence Exercising your delegated Health and Safety responsibilities for all personnel employed in or attached to areas under their control, including individuals who may be affected by their work activities Essential skills and qualifications: HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent experience Experience of working within the Avionic Systems and trade on military aircraft either within a civilian or military role Broad Knowledge of aircraft systems in general, and an in depth and specific knowledge of the Typhoon Avionics systems Deep understanding of both the importance of completing aircraft paperwork correctly, and how to achieve this using the Engineering Support System (ESS) Typhoon Q Qualified Experience of supervising maintenance activities ideally within a Pt 145 regulatory
