Position Overview
The Aveva E3D Developer - Dicetek Abu Dhabi will design, develop, and maintain customized modules of Aveva E3D Design to support engineering projects. The role involves creating tailored solutions using PML, .NET technologies, and SQL while ensuring optimized performance and scalability. Knowledge of oil and gas processes and industry-specific applications will be a strong advantage.

Core Duties

• Design, develop, and maintain custom modules within Aveva E3D Design
• Build solutions using PML, C#, or VB.NET tailored to project needs
• Leverage Aveva E3D APIs and database structure for application customization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time
• Optimize applications for scalability and performance
• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including debugging and issue resolution
• Focus solely on software development tasks, without involvement in catalog support or clash management

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Proven hands-on experience with PML, C#, or VB.NET
• In-depth knowledge of Aveva E3D Design, including APIs and database structures
• Strong SQL expertise for query optimization and data manipulation
• Analytical problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Preferred Skills

• Strong understanding of oil and gas sector operations and technical challenges
• Familiarity with complementary engineering software tools used in the industry
