  • Enhancing Efficiency: Streamlining AV operations to support company objectives.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Introducing new technologies and practices for better outcomes.
  • Brand Representation: Ensuring AV outputs reflect the company\'s brand and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning and Vision: Developing and implementing a strategic plan for the AV department that aligns with the company\'s overall objectives.
  • Team Leadership and Management: Leading a team of AV professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Budget Management: Overseeing the department\'s budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining quality.
  • Project Management: Supervising AV projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Technology Oversight: Staying abreast of the latest AV technology trends and incorporating them into the department\'s operations.
  • Vendor Relations: Managing relationships with external vendors and service providers.
Everyday Tasks
  • Meeting with Team Leaders: To discuss ongoing projects, challenges, and progress.
  • Project Oversight: Ensuring projects are on track, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Resource Allocation: Assigning tasks and resources for efficient project completion.
  • Reporting: Preparing reports for upper management on department performance.
  • Training and Development: Conducting or arranging training sessions for team members.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in a related field such as Media Technology, Audiovisual Communications, or Engineering.
  • A master\'s degree can be advantageous.

Additional Information
  • Extensive experience in the AV field, with a progression to leadership roles. Experience in a corporate setting is often preferred.
  • Familiarity with the latest AV technologies and software.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 Certification
  • Specific to AV technologies (e.g., Certified Technology Specialist (CTS)
Experience Requirements:
  • 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in the AV industry or a related field.
  • Solid experience in leading and managing a team of AV professionals, including aspects of hiring, training, and performance management.
  • A proven track record of effective budget management and overseeing AV projects from start to finish.
  • Experience in handling vendor relationships and contract negotiations.
