We're looking for a detail-driven and results-oriented
Spare Parts Manager
to oversee and optimize the parts operations in our busy garage. With 5-7 years of hands-on experience in automotive spare parts -- ideally within the UAE -- you'll be the go-to expert ensuring smooth availability, efficient inventory, and seamless coordination with workshop and suppliers alike.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Oversee stock levels, ensure timely reordering, and minimize dead stock while maintaining optimal availability.
Vendor & Supplier Coordination:
Source high-quality, cost-effective parts from trusted local and international suppliers. Negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
Parts Cataloguing:
Maintain an accurate, up-to-date database of all spare parts with part numbers, applications, and pricing.
Team Leadership:
Supervise parts staff, assign duties, and provide technical guidance to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Coordination with Workshop:
Work closely with service advisors and technicians to fulfill parts requests promptly, ensuring minimal service delays.
Sales & Customer Service:
Support walk-in customers and garage clients in identifying and sourcing the right parts for their vehicles.
Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare regular reports on parts consumption, stock valuation, and supplier performance.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure proper storage, safety standards, and cleanliness of the parts department.
Requirements:
5-7 years of experience in automotive spare parts management, preferably within the UAE or GCC.
Strong knowledge of major vehicle brands and parts compatibility.
Experience with garage operations and direct coordination with workshop teams.
Familiarity with parts management systems and inventory software.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage a team and work under pressure.
Fluency in English; Arabic or other language skills are a plus.
UAE driving license preferred.
