Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Senior Mechanic

to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, while also leading and supervising junior technicians to ensure the highest quality standards and efficient operations. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and a commitment to safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in vehicles (including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, steering, HVAC, etc.) Supervise and mentor junior mechanics and workshop technicians Conduct preventive and scheduled maintenance across fleet and private vehicles Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve faults accurately Perform post-repair road testing to confirm proper functioning of vehicles Ensure all repair and maintenance activities comply with manufacturer standards and company policies Maintain accurate job cards, service records, and repair documentation Collaborate with service advisors and procurement for smooth job flow and parts coordination Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workshop environment Stay updated on latest automotive technologies and repair practices

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 7 years of professional experience as an automotive mechanic (GCC experience preferred) Diploma or certification in Automotive Technology or Mechanical Engineering In-depth knowledge of petrol and diesel engines; hybrid/electric vehicle knowledge is a plus Proficiency in using diagnostic tools (e.g., OBD-II scanners, oscilloscopes) Experience working with European, Japanese, or high-performance vehicles is an advantage Strong leadership and team management skills Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus) UAE driving license is preferred

Compensation & Benefits:

Monthly Salary:

AED 8,000 to AED 12,000 (based on skills and experience)
