Job Description

The

Automation Engineer

will be responsible for designing, programming, configuring, and maintaining

home automation and AV solutions

. The role requires hands-on experience with

Crestron, Savant, and Control4 platforms

, as well as the ability to integrate various subsystems such as lighting, HVAC, audio-video, security, and networking into a unified control solution.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and program

home automation systems

using

Crestron, Savant, and Control4

platforms. Integrate and manage

AV systems, lighting controls, HVAC, CCTV, access control, and shading systems

. Conduct

system installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting

. Review

drawings, wiring diagrams, and project documentation

to ensure proper implementation. Work closely with project managers, site engineers, and technicians to deliver projects on time. Provide

technical support and training

to clients on automation systems. Document project configurations, programming, and user manuals. Stay updated with the latest

automation technologies, firmware updates, and programming standards

. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for hardware/software requirements. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, IT, or related field. Proven experience with

Crestron, Savant, and Control4 systems

(certifications highly preferred). Strong knowledge of

AV systems, networking, and structured cabling

. Hands-on programming experience with

Crestron Toolbox, Savant RacePoint Blueprint, Control4 Composer Pro

. Ability to read and interpret

schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings

. Good understanding of

IP networking

(switches, routers, firewalls, VLANs). Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work independently or in a team. GCC/UAE experience preferred.
