Job Description
Our growing company is seeking to hire a Senior Detailer who will be in charge of providing detailed and budget estimate preparation for Interior Fit-out, Exhibition Stands and Joinery works to submit to clients and contractors. Education: Degree in Engineering, Architecture Experience: 5-7 years Level of Position: Mid management Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare drawings in compliance with regulations, design brief and direction provided by the client using Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) Software;
- Create detailed CAD Drawings from concept design to final working drawings;
- Produce a rough sketches according to client\xe2\x80\x99s specification in order to finalize concept design and review engineering team.
- Ensures drawings are in accordance with the appropriate specification procedures and standards;
- Produce drawings to support stages of the workflow process to reflect requirements and to incorporate amendments;
- Seamlessly integrate and work with project managers and designers;
- Collaborate information flow between design and production teams.
- Identify potential operational issues and redesign products to improve functionality
- Create manuals that describe existing products\xe2\x80\x99 operation, features and maintenance
- Assure quality of works by creating precise and complete drawings;
- 5-7 years minimum experience
- Should have a minimum 5 years joinery experience, preferably with Architectural Degree and proficient in the English language.
- Experience in material management
- Experience in managing and sourcing interior fit-out suppliers
- Good Knowledge of the Fit-out Suppliers & Sub Contractors in local market & overseas
- Multi-task and ability to work with more than one project
- Effective communication skills and technically sound
- Strong technical mind-set and able to read and interpret technical data
- Good interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
- Career Oriented & passionate towards the work
- Commercially and financially aware
- Strong analytical skills & positive attitude
- Knowledge of estimating techniques
- Results orientated and organised with the ability to deliver against deadlines
