We are currently seeking a
skilled AutoCAD Draftsman
with a strong background in
MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing)
drafting to join our team. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of delivering high-quality technical drawings in coordination with engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings for MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting).
Interpret design specifications and MEP layouts provided by engineers.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure drawings comply with project requirements and industry standards.
Revise and update drawings based on engineer feedback and project changes.
Maintain organized records of drawings and related documents.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience
as an AutoCAD Draftsman in MEP.
Proficient in
AutoCAD
; experience with Revit is a plus.
Strong understanding of MEP systems and layout practices.
Attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Knowledge of local building codes and MEP standards.
