Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

AutoCAD Draftsman - MEP

with strong experience in

electrical and plumbing systems

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing precise 2D drawings and layouts, coordinating with engineers, and ensuring all MEP drawings meet project and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare

detailed AutoCAD drawings

for electrical and plumbing systems in compliance with project specifications and standards. Develop

shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings

for MEP services (mainly electrical & plumbing). Work closely with MEP engineers and project managers to convert conceptual designs into technical drawings. Conduct

clash detection

and resolve MEP coordination issues with other services (HVAC, civil, structural, etc.). Maintain and update drawing logs, versions, and document control. Prepare

load schedules, single-line diagrams, and plumbing schematics

under engineer supervision. Ensure drawings comply with

DEWA, SEWA, and local authority requirements

. Review drawings from consultants and contractors and incorporate mark-ups as needed. Perform site visits to verify actual installation as per drawings (as-built).

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma or ITI in Drafting/Engineering or relevant technical field.

Minimum 4-6 years of experience

as an AutoCAD Draftsman in MEP projects, with strong exposure to

electrical and plumbing

systems. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

is mandatory; knowledge of

Revit MEP or Navisworks

is an advantage. Familiar with

MEP codes, DEWA/SEWA regulations

, and standard detailing practices. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and produce accurate shop drawings. Strong attention to detail and time management. Good communication and team coordination skills.

Preferred:

UAE experience on

residential, commercial, or industrial

MEP projects. Familiarity with

BIM coordination

is a plus. Knowledge of

material submittals and BOQ preparation

(basic level).
Requirements:

Should have exposure in working of MEP services At least 4-5 years of experience in related field of specifications Strong Team leadership and Management skills Ability to work under pressure and flexibility to work long hours, if situation demands Ability to work in a collaborative and diverse team environment
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
