Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for cut & bend reinforcement, steel fabrication, and related works as per project requirements. Interpret and analyze structural and architectural drawings to produce accurate bar bending schedules (BBS) and fabrication details. Coordinate with the production and site teams to ensure drawings match practical requirements and production capabilities. Maintain and update drawing revisions, ensuring proper document control and version tracking. Generate shop drawings and fabrication layouts with precise measurements, dimensions, and material specifications. Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, codes, and client specifications. Support engineers and supervisors by providing technical clarifications and modifications where necessary. Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors for drawing approvals and clarifications. Contribute to optimizing material usage and minimizing wastage through accurate detailing. Ensure timely submission of drawings to meet production and project schedules.
Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma / ITI in Civil / Mechanical / Drafting or related field. Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential; 3D is a plus). Minimum 2-5 years' experience in drafting within the cut & bend, steel fabrication, or rebar industry. Good knowledge of bar bending schedules, fabrication detailing, and construction drawings. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Good communication and coordination skills.
