Role Overview:

We are looking for a technically strong and detail-oriented

AutoCAD Draftsman

with proven experience in

interior fit-out and renovation projects

, specifically within the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing all required technical drawings, including

interior design (ID) packages

Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings

,

authority submission sets

,

shop drawings

, and

basic FF&E documentation

. Working closely with the design and engineering teams, the Draftsman will play a vital role in translating conceptual designs into accurate, buildable, and regulation-compliant technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare comprehensive

Interior Design (ID) drawing packages

: floor plans, reflected ceiling plans (RCPs), elevations, sections, and detailed joinery drawings. Develop complete

Issued for Construction (IFC) drawing sets

in coordination with design, site, and engineering teams. Produce

shop drawings

and

detailed drawings

suitable for fabrication and on-site execution. Create

authority submission packages

in compliance with Dubai regulatory bodies (e.g., DM, DCD, DEWA, TECOM). Translate design sketches, concepts, and mark-ups into detailed, precise technical drawings. Produce and coordinate

joinery

,

MEP

,

structural

,

ceiling

, and

partition drawings

, ensuring integration with architectural design. Ensure all technical drawings meet Level of Detail (LOD) 300-350 standards: Fully dimensioned drawings with material and finish annotations. Detailed construction build-ups for joinery, ceilings, and partitions. Service cut-outs, soffit coordination, and access panel details. Coordinate

FF&E layouts

, tagging, and schedules with the design team, including item codes, dimensions, and location references. Prepare and maintain

drawing version control

,

revision logs

, and issue records. Revise and update drawings in response to consultant, authority, or site comments. Generate accurate

as-built drawings

upon project completion.

Technical & Software Proficiency:

AutoCAD (advanced level)

- Mandatory. Familiarity with

Revit

,

SketchUp

, or other design software is a plus. Strong technical understanding of interior fit-out detailing, materials, and construction methods.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

(Mandatory). Minimum

5 years of UAE-based experience

in drafting for

interior fit-out, renovation, or finishing projects

. Strong knowledge of

joinery, ceilings, partitions, bathrooms, kitchens

, and other interior elements. Proven experience preparing

IFC drawings

and

authority submission packages

. Familiarity with

UAE codes

and submission processes (DM, DCD, DEWA, TECOM, etc.). Ability to manage multiple drawing packages simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Strong coordination and communication skills to liaise effectively with design, site, and consultant teams.
