Responsible for preparing sketches and shop drawings for fabrication, for mechanical and for piping modification including civil, structural, and electrical, instrument and communication lay out section elevation as per actual measurement..

Duties and Responsibilities:
6.1 Develop projects from concept to completion; analyze survey reports, drawings, blueprints and other electrical data to plan projects.
6.2 Responsible for knowing and complying site safety rules and regulations.
6.3 Conferring with architects and/or engineers, a draftsman initially gains an understanding of the scope and requirements of a project.
6.4 Prepares and revises engineering drawings, shop drawings, details, sections, charts and similar documents as directed.
6.5 Utilizing both manual drawing skills as wells as computer?based application, such as automated computer?assisted drafting, the draftsman creates both two?dimensional and three?dimensional renderings of the finished project.
6.6 Make simple but professional computation through the use of tables, charts, etc.
6.7 Once drafts have been completed, they are presented to the architect or engineer for review.
6.8 Following a discussion of any alterations that need to occur, the draftsman makes changes to the renderings.
6.9 Make red mark up and reflect then to as built drawings, red sign piping isometric layout as per Clients requirements and standard specification.
6.10 Prepares bar schedules and other construction notes.
6.11 Prepares bill of materials and cost estimates of simple structure.
6.12 HSE Responsibility: To take care of own health and safety and that of others including the Environment that may be affected at work. To cooperate with employers and co-workers to meet the legal requirements.
6.13 HSE Accountability: To report to supervisor/top management any risk/incident related to health and safety and environment in his work area.

Qualifications:
Diploma, Bachelor Degree in Architect/Civil Engineer, AutoCAD

Experience:
5 to 7 years related experience

9.1 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
9.2 Knowledge of Photoshop
9.3 Strong planning and analytical skills and attention to details
9.4 With conceptualization skills to visualize finished drawings and assigned projects.
9.5 Ability to generate complete discipline drawings with Engineer's supervision.
Able to operate manual and computer aided drawing software. Knowledge of geometry and architectural terminology
