We are seeking an experienced Associate Project Manager / Coordinator to join our team. As an Associate Project Manager / Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the project and the project team members from inception to completion. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of project management (Agile/Traditional) methodologies and experience managing various business and government projects. Specially, manage the project in ERP implementation and product development domain. Manage and resolve functional and technical discussion and decision with your expert domain knowledge require in a project.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects and team members from project inception to closure, ensure project deliver on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Project successful completion is not enough. Customer satisfaction, benefit realization and sustainment are more important and essential.
  • Establish, develop and improve project management process, practices, standard and procedures.
  • Supporting PMO in establishing and developing best practices. Adhere all relevant policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions and ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Develop detailed project plans across all the knowledge areas, adhere and keep updated as per the latest information.
  • Ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Timely manage, capture and share concern and related information to respective stakeholder.
  • Use multiple channel communication as per plan and make sure information received and understand as expected.
  • Develop progress reports in an accurate and timely manner according to set reporting guidelines to provide updates on progress and facilitate decision-making for higher management.
  • Effectively manage risk and issues and escalate as per define governance model. Ensure continuous identification, assessment, monitoring and timely response.
  • Monitor factors (internal/external) that can adversely affect the project and its progress. Take timely preventive and corrective action as necessary.
  • Plan the change management and transition to make sure benefit are realized and sustained.
  • Project success factor, acceptance criteria, assumption, constraint, dependences, risk and issues must effectively define, manage, monitor and control to ensure project is stay align as per the stakeholder expectations.
  • Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices, considering leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
  • Provide the support and related input to sales/presales in Tenders/RFPs.
  • Analyze the project demands, Identify the need of right project management methodology and approach. That benefit in all aspect and overcome challenges
  • Manage agile, traditional, or hybrid project based on the need of project related to software application, hardware, and infrastructure project.
  • Must be able to manage ERP Implementation and Product development project with require domain & technical knowledge.
  • Effectively engage with stakeholder and able to understand, listen, convince, and negotiate to reach on common goal.
  • Effectively manage conflict resolution to avoid issues and impact on project.
  • Manage all aspect of project, planning, execution, monitor & controlling and closure across the knowledge areas. Such as, scope, schedule, risk, communication etc.
    Proficient in MS Office specially word, excel, visio and power point.
  • Must have proficient skill and hands-on in MS Project.

Domain Knowledge

  • Must have ERP or Business Support System knowledge to manage similar projects.
  • Must have Domain Knowledge of ERP and business support applications (such as, HRMS, Finance & Supply Chain, CRM, SRM, Manufacturing, Logistic, Warehouse and Inventory and EAM etc.)
  • Able to manage Product Development projects. Guide and coordinate functional and technical aspect of the development with functional and technical team.
  • SaaS, Cloud and On-premises solution and deployment knowledge. Knowledge about the various technology involve in application development.

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience as a project manager in the software industry especially.
  • Including two years of experience in managing agile project and three years in traditional project management.
  • Including three years of experience in managing project with JIRA, MS Project or any other project management tool.
  • Bachelor of Computer Science/ Software Eng. / IT
  • Must have Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
Fluent in English / Arabic Speaker (prefer Omani National)
