Associate Project Manager

You will be working as Associate Project Manager, will be the part of Electrification Business Area for Services division based in Dubai, UAE. In this role you will be responsible to ensure delivery of selected product, on time, on budget and coordinates with customer thus being an Ambassador for ABB in front of the end user

Your responsibilities

• Taking over the project from sales, arranging and leading kick-off meeting with customer and also regular progress meetings to report the status of the project, managing sub-contractors for successful and safe execution of work within time and cost
• Following all HSE guidelines and ensuring all field team adhere to safety, contract review during tendering and posting order to identify risks and mitigate them, entering sales order in SAP after reviewing the order papers given by the sale support
• Managing the project and be the main contact for all facets of project execution, defining the project schedule and ensuring timely completion and efficiently managing the project documentation
• Initiating the procurement action, further following-up and monitoring timely receipt of material, responsible for all the project financials and results, generating purchase requisition in SAP for ordering material and sending to SCM email
• Arranging dispatch of the shipping documents on time to customers, goods receipt and final invoicing to customers and passing POD in SAP, taking care of cost center related purchases till final delivery and return as per the agreed terms
• Taking care of project management responsibilities of other colleagues in their absence as a backup, invoicing of sales orders, checking backlog orders that is yet to be invoiced, arranging the documents required by the engineers coordinating with ABB Abu Dhabi (if Engineers required for CNIA Security Pass)
• Applying certificate of origin online(one of the shipping requirement for dispatching materials), generating the regular project documentations such as project schedule, progress reports, FAT invitation and milestone documentation
• HSE should follow based on guideline, ensuring revenue commitments are met as per backlog review meetings, sending TNPS surveys, ensuring on time delivery of all order and planning FSE based on project or order requirements on FSL

Your background

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree \xe2\x80\x93 Electrical Engineering
• Minimum experience of 7 -10 years
• Good knowledge of MV switchgear , LV switchgear systems, LV components, VFD\xe2\x80\x99s, soft starters, PLC\xe2\x80\x99s, project commercial matters and contractual knowledge
• Good in computing- MS Office, MS project, SAP etc.
• Flexibility, networking and team works capabilities
• PMP certification (preferable)
• Fluency in English language is mandatory
