About our client
Our client is a prestigious investment fund with a strong track record and a global investment remit. This is an exciting and rare opportunity for an Associate Principal to join their team based in the United Arab Emirates. The role will focus on post-investment value creation across private and public markets, with an emphasis on evaluating, monitoring, and optimising existing capital solutions investments. What the job involves

• Monitoring the post investment life cycle of investments, using calls, LP presentations and analysis
• Driving the evaluation of internally and externally managed investments through reviewing performance indicators, capital markets and portfolio reports
• Sourcing and screening incoming opportunities from the existing portfolio, preparing investment memos and presenting to the investment committee
• Researching information from assigned investment fields to ascertain data on potential investments
• Receiving and reviewing investment information, financial briefs and investment periodicals
• Investigating new investment opportunities in projects, special situations or companies and presenting internal investment recommendations

Who we are looking for

• Experienced investment professionals with well-rounded knowledge and expertise across a diverse cross-section of industries, geographies and asset classes
• Exceptional financial modelling and analytical skills, with a proven track record of evaluating, underwriting and executing investment opportunities
• Prior experience in portfolio monitoring, deal execution and leading exit strategies
• Capable of supporting value enhancement initiatives
• The ability to relocate to Abu Dhabi
