Great opportunity to work in a pivotal role within a leading global Architecture & Urban Design Practice in Abu Dhabi as the Associate Master Planner. You will be joining a company with a prestigious name who hold an extensive list of high profile projects around the world. Perform as the lead master planner/ urban designer for projects- Project delivery and management
- Briefing and liaising with our global urbanism team in London, Singapore and Lisbon
- Liaise and coordinate with internal and external consultants on design issues
- Strong design, sketching and presentation skills
- Writing and illustrating urban design concept, develop urban design and landscape guidelines
- Active client management
- Proposal writing and pitching
- Ensure that aspirations and expectations of clients are met and managed
- Ensure that the quality of output is managed in line with company standards
- All candidates will require the following core attributes & competencies:
- Recognised professional qualification and first degree in urban planning/ urban design/ architecture/ landscape architecture and / or related field
- Experience working in global practice and UAE
- Sound knowledge of international best practices and demonstration of use of innovative techniques in urban design, urban planning and sustainable development
- Knowledge of planning regulations and submissions in Abu Dhabi and/ or Dubai
- Good leadership and communication skills
- Willing to travel for projects
- A recognised Masters Degree in Urban Planning/Urban Design
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
