Great opportunity to work in a pivotal role within a leading global Architecture & Urban Design Practice in Abu Dhabi as the Associate Master Planner. You will be joining a company with a prestigious name who hold an extensive list of high profile projects around the world. Happy to speak with candidates who are ready for the next career step into an Associate level. Responsibilities:

  • Perform as the lead master planner/ urban designer for projects
  • Project delivery and management
  • Briefing and liaising with our global urbanism team in London, Singapore and Lisbon
  • Liaise and coordinate with internal and external consultants on design issues
  • Strong design, sketching and presentation skills
  • Writing and illustrating urban design concept, develop urban design and landscape guidelines
  • Active client management
  • Proposal writing and pitching
  • Ensure that aspirations and expectations of clients are met and managed
  • Ensure that the quality of output is managed in line with company standards
  • All candidates will require the following core attributes & competencies:
  • Recognised professional qualification and first degree in urban planning/ urban design/ architecture/ landscape architecture and / or related field
  • Experience working in global practice and UAE
  • Sound knowledge of international best practices and demonstration of use of innovative techniques in urban design, urban planning and sustainable development
  • Knowledge of planning regulations and submissions in Abu Dhabi and/ or Dubai
  • Good leadership and communication skills
  • Willing to travel for projects
- IT Skills - AutoCAD, SketchUP, Adobe Software (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Microsoft Office. GIS knowledge is a plus. Requirements:
  • A recognised Masters Degree in Urban Planning/Urban Design
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
