Position Overview
GEMS Education is hiring an Associate HR Business Partner to support HRBPs in aligning people and organisational objectives across school clusters. The role involves driving talent management, succession planning, recruitment, employee engagement, compliance, and HR operations, ensuring that schools within the network achieve excellence in people and culture deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support succession planning and talent management processes across clusters.
  • Maintain HR dashboards, talent pipelines, and leadership databases.
  • Partner with HRBP on performance development plans and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure recruitment plans align with internal talent mapping and external pipelines.
  • Analyse exit trends and recommend retention strategies.
  • Coordinate climate surveys, staff wellbeing, and employee relations initiatives.
  • Support grievance, disciplinary, and separation procedures in line with GEMS policies.
  • Liaise with GR team to ensure employment law compliance.
  • Conduct safer recruitment audits and recommend improvements.
  • Manage HR data accuracy and support HR automation and analytics projects.
Ideal Profile
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an HR generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, compliance, and employee relations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with emotional intelligence.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to balance people and business needs.
  • High energy, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Professional judgement with service-oriented but assertive approach.
