About our client
Our client is a prestigious global investment firm based in Abu Dhabi, with an outstanding track record in private equity transactions globally. This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate to join their growing and highly successful team. The role will focus on direct private equity and credit investments in Europe, across a wide range of sectors. The ideal candidate will have experience in leveraged finance or M&A, or be an investor at a top tier private equity /credit firm within European markets. What the job involves
- Involvement in all aspects of the transaction process from origination to execution and portfolio management
- Developing and analysing financial models
- Leading certain workstreams such as various diligence processes as well being the point of contact for industry experts, management teams and investment partners
- Working alongside other top-tier asset managers / private equity funds on co-investment opportunities
- Experience of working in the M&A or leveraged finance teams of a top-tier investment bank. Alternatively, experience working in a private equity or private credit role with prior investment banking exposure.
- Outstanding academics from a top-tier university
- Strong business acumen and high professional integrity
- Native-level or fluent in a European language in addition to English is desirable but not required
